L’Oréal turned heads last week with the claim that that its latest innovation is the “bottle of the future.” The company has developed the first cosmetic bottle made entirely from recycled plastic using Carbios’ enzymatic technology.
 
In other news, The Allure Store, an experiential retail store by Allure Magazine, opened in New York on July 1. The curated selection includes more than 280 makeup, haircare, and skincare products from more than 150 brands. All were handpicked and previously featured in Allure. Beauty shoppers can also shop The Allure Store online.
 
Lastly, Crocs has teamed up with the beauty experts at Benefit Cosmetics for a collaboration that includes makeovers for two iconic Crocs styles. Check out the Benefit X Crocs Classic Clog and the Benefit X Crocs Classic Sandal.
